28th June and the forthcoming London Pride event mark the 52nd anniversary of the Stonewall uprising, which took place in New York City in 1969, ultimately bringing about a huge change in LGBTQ+ awareness and acceptance by the world.

As we’re all too aware, so many things in the world have been changed by COVID-19, and over the last 18 months, isolation, division and fear have been commonplace.

At Metallix, we feel this is an opportunity for us all to set aside prejudice and conflict and instead celebrate, joy, happiness and coming together.

Ours is an organization that celebrates difference and diversity in all its forms. Our CEO, Maria I. Piastre, has built a company with a strong set of cultural values, and created an environment in which discrimination and prejudice has no place.

Metallix embraces inclusivity and recognizes our individual uniqueness. Every Metallix employee is part of a supportive ecosystem which is designed to encourage personal and professional growth. Each employee is given the tools to pursue a career that’s right for them, and achieve success based on their ability, rather than their gender or lifestyle choices.

We all have the right to go to work and feel comfortable being our true selves, and central to the Metallix ethos is the belief that the best place to work is somewhere that supports you to be at your best.

Happy Pride Month!
