Crisis is the UK’s leading charity for people experiencing homelessness. They help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.

Working towards the aim that homelessness is not inevitable, and that in 21st century Britain everybody should have a place to live, Crisis believe that with collective action and political will, homelessness can be ended once and for all.

Ending homelessness for good doesn’t mean that no-one will ever lose their home again. People will unfortunately still be forced from their homes for a variety of reasons, from increased pressure from high rents and low pay, to a sudden life event like losing a job or family breakdown.

What Crisis are working towards is that anyone facing homelessness should get the help they need – and fast.

The charity has published a plan showing the solutions that can end homelessness in Britain, including how long it will take and how much it will cost.

Whilst political pressure is the long-term way to solve this, Crisis are also very much dependent on donations and public support to tackle the issues of the here and now. And that’s why Metallix are only too happy to get involved.
