Experts in Logistics
Transportation, put simply, is the process of moving people or goods from one place to another. It’s a concept we often take for granted.
We travel daily by car, bus, and train. We fly to every corner of the world for business or leisure. And we move products and goods globally by truck, train, and ship. But the truth is, there’s nothing simple about transportation: scheduling, safety, and security are complex and constantly evolving elements where careful attention to every detail is key to ensuring the safe, timely, and reliable delivery of people and products to their final destination.
When it comes to transporting precious-metal-bearing scrap and waste, any failure in the process can lead to storage issues, environmental incidents, and the loss of valuable material.
At Metallix, we take the idea of careful vigilance to another level in everything we do — and transportation is no exception. Our fleet of modern, security-enhanced trucks, operated by Metallix, is licensed to safely transport both hazardous and non-hazardous precious-metal-bearing scrap and waste. These impressive upgrades, however, require a team of professional drivers trained to handle all types of materials, waste codes, manifests, labels, and documentation.
We are proud of our professional drivers, who frequently receive the highest praise and recognition from our customers. Let’s meet our team…

ANGELO KEYES
Angelo was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and began his career with a global industrial and pharmaceutical chemical company. He was later transferred to the Kinston, NC plant, where he worked for several years.
Eventually, Angelo heard “the call of the open road” and began driving for a food delivery service before becoming a true “king of the road” as the owner/operator of his own trailer. Luckily for Metallix, Angelo began driving for us six years ago, and since then, he has become a friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable resource for customers during their pickups. In 2024, he was promoted to Transportation Fleet Supervisor.
When he’s not on the road, Angelo enjoys spending time with his wife of 33 years, their three children, and five grandchildren. He loves going to church, fishing, hunting, and cooking for his family..

REGINALD WOODS
Reggie was born in Manhattan but grew up in Elizabeth City, NC, where his mother worked as a professor at Elizabeth City State University.
After completing his college studies, Reggie married and began his career as a truck driver for a company that recycled byproducts from the food and livestock industry. He recalls with humor that “the smell was terrible but unmistakable.” Even so, he fell in love with every aspect of the driving profession.
Reggie joined Metallix about a year ago, and the warm welcome he received from our team and clients has only strengthened his passion for delivering safe, reliable transportation held to the highest safety standards.
Outside of work, Reggie dedicates most of his time to his two sons, aged 11 and 9, who are on their way to becoming future basketball stars. He never misses a game — whether in person or watching the livestream — as their biggest fan and cheerleader.

CALEB WILSON
Caleb is originally from the North Carolina coast. After graduating, he worked for several years as a certified paramedic (EMT), serving his community.
He later discovered his true calling and trained at a professional driving school, motivated by his desire to travel across the country. After completing his training, he drove for a national long-haul freight company.
In September 2024, Caleb brought his experience to Metallix, where he enjoys the best of both worlds: traveling and meeting customers while still being able to spend weekends at home pursuing his personal passions.
Among those passions, Caleb describes himself as a book-loving and gaming “nerd.” He’s also a true rocker who plays both electric and classical guitar. In addition, he loves nature, hiking, and camping outdoors.
