Logistics Canada
Metallix, in partnership with an experienced Canadian transportation company, handles the permitting and export of waste from start to finish. All shipments are conducted under a valid Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) export permit and with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) consent.
Metallix offers a unique service by handling the Canadian export process from start to finish. In most cases of waste export, the customer is responsible for attaining their own export permit via a time-consuming and burdensome application process.
The permit application process is completed in Canada by experienced export professionals with extensive knowledge of ECCC regulations. The process is audited continuously by Metallix Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professionals to ensure full compliance with all applicable U.S. and Canadian regulations.
Our export permit covers a wide range of hazardous materials to include spent catalyst from pharmaceutical and specialty chemical manufacturing, as well as resins, filters, rags, and spent plating baths from the microelectronic, medical device, and electroplating industries. Transportation costs are reduced by hauling multiple customers’ material on each trip.
All of this occurs with no additional paperwork or delays in shipping for the supplier. At Metallix, we’ve built a partnership that allows for the efficient and compliant export of scrap with zero hassle to you. It’s everything all in one.
