This was a day where Metallix staff, families and the community joined together to help preserve the local area. It focussed on educating a new generation to respect and care for the environment both now and for the future.
We planted trees, cleaned up the surrounding land and river, and enjoyed plenty of fun, food and games.

TOWN CREEK TREE PLANTING
Metallix invested in planting 15 trees and shrubs as part of a widespread Tar River neighbourhood clean-up, as well as refreshing the park’s play areas.
PROUDLY SUPPORTING OUR PARTNERS
We welcomed our event partners who, together with Metallix, support Growing Greenville to ensure we keep the city green and clean, raising awareness about World Earth Month.
We also established a scholarship for the DH Conley Future Business Leaders of America Chapter, who were among several partners that assisted with our environmental drive.
Together, we collected around 1500lbs of trash from the surrounding areas and waterways.
The event was a great success and we’re really proud of what everyone achieved. It starts with building a relationship with the community and it’s all part of our commitment to help make our future cleaner and greener.
