On July 18th, over 200 Metallix staff were joined by their families and friends at the second Metallix Environmental Stewardship Event at River Park North, North Carolina.
The event, which took place as part of the Plastic Free July initiative, was supported by local youth group ‘Love a Sea Turtle’. Our volunteers gave their time to help clean up the local waterways and park areas. By the end of the day, our team had removed over 1000lbs of trash and debris.
We would like to thank everyone who took part and helped to make the day a great success. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring our team and their families together to do something good for the local community and for the planet. At Metallix, we believe in giving back, and we will continue to invest our time, passion and resources where they are needed most. In doing so, we hope to inspire other people and businesses to join us as we work towards a better future for all.
We’re already looking forward to the 2023 Metallix Environmental Stewardship event, which will be held on Monday April 10th.
