The second charity we’re supporting this Christmas is Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that helps families build and improve places that they can call home.
With a firm belief that affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities, and can help build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter, Habitat for Humanity is a charity that Metallix can really get behind.
Present in more than 70 countries, and helping more than 39 million people improve their living conditions since 1976, Habitat for Humanity works together with families, local communities, volunteers and partners, so that more people are able to live in affordable and safe homes.
Their efforts focus on policy reform to remove systemic barriers preventing low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate, affordable shelter.
From land tenure security and disaster response, to microfinance and water, sanitation and hygiene, Habitat provides programming, expertise, and above all, much needed help, in various sectors across the world.
