For the final charity of our Christmas campaign, we are delighted to return to one of our most treasured organizations: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Based in Memphis, Tennessee, St Jude is leading the way in helping the world understand, treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The hospital costs approximately $2.8m a day to run, but patients and families are not charged for their care. Consistent with the hospital’s founding vision, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or their family’s ability to pay.
Working towards advancing cures, and means of prevention, St Jude know that they must be relentlessly innovative. Their work helps fuel the groundbreaking research and treatment, and ensures that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. All a family should worry about is helping their child live.
