The next charity on our Christmas list is the amazing Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. They also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
One way Tunnel to Towers honors these sacrifices is by providing mortgage-free homes to fallen first-responder families with young children, and Gold Star military families.
Since 9/11, as well as providing these much deserved homes for life, the charity helps by building custom-designed smart homes for seriously injured veterans and first responders. They are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and aiding the victims of major U.S. disasters.
This is all about helping America’s heroes and is an organization very close to everyone at Metallix.
