World Ocean Day is an annual event which aims to create awareness of human impact on the ocean and marine life, and inspire action to protect and preserve it.
This year, Metallix sponsored Love A Sea Turtle (LAST) – a local Pitt County environmental youth leadership organization which takes an active role in the community and good causes.

Supporting local communities in a global drive
The Metallix team, from our New Jersey and Greenville NC operations, joined LAST in the day’s events. As a company, we encourage all our employees, as well as other likeminded business leaders, to make a difference, both in their local communities and in this global drive.
Our event was a great success and it was a fantastic opportunity to bring the company team and community together for a fun day out under a common goal of supporting a great cause.
